Condenser Fan: Testing and Inspection
Auxiliary Fan Preresistor Location
Ohm Decade - Special Tool # 124 589 09 63 00
FUNCTION CHECK:

Perform by disconnecting plug at coolant temperature sensor for air conditioning B10/8 and setting 310 Ohms (stage I) or 250 Ohms (stage II)
with an ohm decade (124 589 09 63 00). Switch on ignition and set control unit (N22) to "AUTO". Auxiliary fans rotate clockwise.
NOTE: After completing the work, erase fault memory in the control unit.
