Perform vertical adjustment of headlamp by turning adjustment screw (6) so that the air bubble in the level (1) is centered on the "0" mark (Figure
1).

Note:
Slight variations of the bubble from the exact center of the "0" mark do not indicate a need for headlamp adjustment.

Confirm horizontal adjustment of headlamp. If necessary, turn adjustment screw (7, Figure 1) so that the pointer (5, Figure 2) for the scale (4,
Figure 1) is aligned with the same mark as the other pointer (3, Figure 2) and scale (2, Figure 1). Do not loosen the screws holding down the
pointers or move the pointers. If either pointer is moved, optical recalibration will be required.

Reinstall headlamp unit covers and access covers in crossmember.

Headlamp Optical Recalibration

Important note:
Recalibration of the headlamp adjustment scale is not necessary unless the complete headlamp unit is replaced, or after accident repair.
