Install female connector housing (3, Figure 4) to cut off branch (a, Figure 1) of new transmission wiring harness. and connect wires as shown in
the table.

10.

Install new transmission wiring harness and make all connections. Secure the additional connectors.

11.

Reinstall driver's footwell carpet.

12.

Test drive vehicle and check all functions of the starter lock~out backup lamp switch. shift range B or D. as well as kickdown function.
