Output Shaft: Service and Repair
Removal & Installation of Grooved Ball Bearing on Output Shaft
Pulling off and pressing on grooved ball bearing connecting flange
Special Tools
Removal
1. Disconnect grooved ball bearing from connecting flange.
Pressing on grooved ball bearing
Note:
On vehicles with ASD, the chamfer or groove (arrow) must point towards the shaft. An installed position is not specified on vehicles with
ASR.
2. Press on deep-grooved ball bearing (33c) using suitable tube (33c) until it abuts the flange.
