Glue on strips of tape (arrows), cut through at top of windshield and remove windshield.

Remove protective foil from retaining strips.

Installing Windshield

Attach both suction cups to window.

Center window in window cut out with aid of second mechanic and move so that strips of tape coincide.

Position window on glue bead and press down until it makes contact with the rubber windshield spacers.

NOTE:  Open side window in car to prevent the windshield from being pressed outwards by the air pressure when a door is closed.

NOTE:  Install windshield within 5 minutes before adhesive force of glue begins to decrease.

NOTE:  The curing time is approx. 1 hour measured from the time the window is installed.

Preliminary work:

Panelling on A-pillar removed. See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair

NOTE:  Remove panelling on A-pillar on one side only.

Molding

Press off with plastic wedge.
