Connect the ohmmeter to terminals 2 and 4.

Depress the non-symbol side of the switch ("OFF"). The resistance should be:
Infinite resistance
9.
Release switch. The resistance should be:
0 - 1 ohm
If the correct resistance is not obtained, replace the switch.
