Fuel Door Release Actuator: Description and Operation
Tank flap element
A clippable pneumatic element with direct locking rod, anti-theft device and emergency unlocking knob.
A valve in the element makes it impossible for the locking rod to be pushed back mechanically by the tank flap. The guide bush (6) covers the
locking rod and prevents water reaching the rod, which can result in the element freezing up in winter.
