Map Pocket Lock Actuator: Service and Repair
Rear Pocket Actuator

Preliminary operation:
Checking interior central locking for leaks. See: Body Control Systems/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and General Diagnostics

NOTE:  Rear door pocket element eliminated as of 09/95

Door panelling

Remove. See: Doors, Hood and Trunk/Doors/Front Door/Front Door Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement

Door pocket (f)

Unscrew (12 screws).

Pneumatic line (6) 

Lever off with open-end wrench (width between flats 7).

Spring clip (20) 

Pull off.

Connector piece (26) 

Clip out at the reversing lever (7).

Element (11 or 13) 

Take out.

Check. See: Locks/Power Locks/Power Door Lock Actuator/Testing and Inspection 

In order to renew the link element (26) 

Rebuild or renew.

Element 

Install in the reverse sequence.
