A.

Model 129
Color Change Of Plastic (RRIM) Detachable Body Components

As of April 1990 production, the RRIM detachable body components (ie: side protection panels,bumper trim panel, etc.) on Signal Red (color code
3568) model 129 vehicles are painted in the same color as the body. Previously, the RRIM body components on Signal Red vehicles were painted Tartan
Red (color code 3515).

For paint repair on RRIM components, solid color base coat paint (P/N 002 986 04 37/3568) should be used.

The solid color base coat paint application process is the same as the base coat/clear coat (wet/wet) process and should then be subsequently sprayed
with KS-2K High Gloss Clear Coat paint (part no. 001 986 81 37) with hardener (part no. 001 986 82 37 or 001 986 83 37) and reducer (part no. 000
986 31 52).

Note: 

Do not mix hardener with base color coat. Hardener should only be mixed in with clear coat. This procedure should not be confused with other paint
repair methods.

Models 124 and 201
Color Change Of Plastic Detachable Body Components

As of October 1990 production, the detachable body components (ie: side protection panels, bumper trim panel, etc.) on Light Ivory (color code 1623)
model 124 and 201 vehicles are painted in the same color as the body. Previously, the plastic body components on Light Ivory vehicles were painted
Safari Beige (color code 1631).

For paint repair on plastic components, solid color base coat paint (part no. 002 986 04 37/1558) should be used.

The solid color base coat paint application process is the same as the base coat/clear coat (wet/wet) process and should then be subsequently sprayed
with KS-2K Semi-Gloss (silky) Clear Coat paint (part no. 002 986 27 37) with hardener (part no. 001 986 82 37 or 001 986 83 37) and reducer (part no.
000 986 31 52).

Note: 

Do not mix hardener with base color coat. Hardener should only be mixed in with clear coat. This procedure should not be confused with other paint
repair methods.
