Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair
Air conditioning system
drain (recycle).
Plugs on pushbuttons (S31/1 and S32)
disconnect.
Two pressure switches
screw off.
Lines on fluid reservoir
disconnect, connect and tighten to 15-18 Nm.
Two bolts (41)
screw out and remove fluid reservoir (40).
Install
in opposite order; moisten threads for hoses with refrigerant oil. If the refrigerant reservoir is renewed, fill approx. 10 cubic centimeter of
refrigerant oil into new fluid reservoir.
Air conditioning system
evacuate, charge and check for proper function and leakage; for this purpose allow engine to run at idle only for first 4 minutes.
NOTE: Generally a new fluid reservoir must be installed in the event of malfunctions in the air conditioning system resulting from leakage,
contamination or icing up or when the refrigerant compressor is repaired or exchanged.
