Disconnect rear axle switch cables by pushing on clip (arrow, Figure 2) and connect test cable 129 589 12 63 00 as shown in Figure 2.
Connect multimeter to test cable and set it to continuity or tone. When lowering vehicle to ground, meter indicates continuty or a beep is
heard.
2.
Raise left side of vehicle on chassis only.
IMPORTANT! Shortly before rear suspension is fully extended (rear wheel lifts off the ground) the meter should indicate an open circuit, or the
beep should stop.
3.
Lower left side of vehicle and repeat test with its right side by raising the right side of the vehicle.
4.
Reconnect rear axle switch cables.
