Turn the new lock cylinder (32) to position 1 using key (33).

Push lock cylinder (32) into spacer tube (35) until it snaps into place audibly. Turn key (33) back to position 0 and pull Out.

Push cap (31) on. As soon as the locking ring (35a) snaps into place, the cap is permanently attached to the spacer tube. As a result, the lock
cylinder can no longer be removed.

Note:

This feature is retroactive for all vehicles. The available replacement lock cylinders can only be installed when set to position 1.
