1. Push dust guard of spring strut from disc.

2. Heat piston rod (5t) in range of screw-in threads of ball joint (5p) with suitable tool (if possible, hot air blower or the like) as quickly as possible to

80-100°C.

The locking compound on threads of ball joint will become liquid upon heating.

3. Clamp open end wrench (05) into vise.
