A. Models With Engines 103, 104
1.
Lift vehicle.
2.
Remove lower engine panel.
3.
Drain engine coolant by first attaching a 14 mm inner diameter, 1500 mm long hose to the drain plug in the engine block and then loosening the
plug. Drain coolant into a suitable container for reuse later.
4.
Remove core plug (arrow, Figure 1 [rear-most plug]) with a 22 mm 6-point socket insert.
5.
Install block heater (A, Figure 2) using rubber O-Ring from the installation kit and not the alloy washer supplied. Tighten block heater using a 46
mm socket.
