Connect a suitable vacuum-pressure tester to port (B) of the breather valve and apply pressure.

The valve should open at approximately 30-50 mbar (0.435-0.725 psi.). If not replace the breather valve.

Apply vacuum to the breather valve.

The valve should open at approximately 20-35 mbar (0.7-1 in. Hg). If not replace the breather valve.
