Receiver Dryer: Service and Repair

REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

1. Empty (recycling) air-conditioner.

2. Disconnect plug from pressure switches (S31 and S32).
3. Remove both pressure switches.
4. Disconnect lines on receiver dryer.
5. Unscrew both screws (41), and remove receiver dryer.
6. Reinstall in reverse order, lubricating the threads for the hose with compressor oil.

NOTE:  If the receiver dryer has been replaced, fill the new fluid reservoir with approx. 10 cc of compressor oil.

7. Evacuate, recharge, check for leakage and proper function, allow engine to run at idle speed only for the first 4 minutes.

TIGHTENING TORQUES:

Lines on fluid reservoir:  15-18 Nm.
