Power Steering Pump: Service and Repair
Remove and Install
REMOVE AND INSTALLATION POWER STEERING PUMP
4 & 5 Cylinder Engines, Single Belt Drive
SPECIAL TOOLS
Remove Air intake hose - Install.
Extract oil from Supply tank of power steering pump - Using extraction device 112 589 00 72 00.
Unscrew High-pressure expanding hose - screw on.
Model 61 25-30 Nm
Model 67 45-50 Nm
Unscrew Return line (28) - screw on, 40 Nm.
In addition on the tandem pump
Unscrew High-pressure hose (27), - screw on, 25 Nm.
Unscrew Return hose (26), - screw on. Use clamp 000 589 40 37 00.
Loosen Bolts (48a) Loosen, - screw on, 30 Nm.
