8. Remove torsion bar attachment (6r, 6s) on spring link.

Installation note

Replace self-locking hexagon nut (6r). Tightening torque 20 Nm. Torque wrench 001 589 72 21 00.

9. Remove self-locking hexagon nut (6d) of spring link on rear axle bracket and remove hexagon bolt, shaped washer or washer (6c). 

Installation note

Replace self-locking hexagon nut. Only tighten when rear axle shaft is horizontal. Tightening torque 70 Nm. Torque wrench 001 589 66 21 00.

Caution!

When raising one side of the rear axle, ensure that the vehicle does not lift off the supporting surface of the hoist - risk of accident. If
necessary, load up the trunk.

10. Unscrew self-locking hexagon nut of spring link (6) on wheel carrier and remove with hexagon bolt.
