6. Insert thrust piece (010a) into steering knuckle (5) from behind.
7. Assemble removal device (010) 201 589 00 61 00 with thrust piece on the front axle shaft flange (9). Pull front axle shaft flange out of angular
contact bearing with removal device.
Note:
In doing this the angular contact ball bearing is damaged. Always renew angular contact ball bearings.
8. Remove circlip (a) from steering knuckle (5) with pliers 126 589 00 37 00.
