Valves Have Contacted Piston Crown) in
Vehicles with Automatic Transmission

Note:

If a number of exhaust valves have contacted the piston crown, i.e. the engine was overrevved, then the total height engine of the torque converter
must be measured when repairing or replacing the engine.

The total thickness end to end is approx. 137.0 mm. If this dimension is 137.5 mm, then the torque converter and the radial seal ring for the primary
pump must be replaced.
