Place template on main bracket. Position trunk bracket underneath and align fastening holes.

Note: 

The M10x10 bolt is to be placed in the non-circled 400E/500E template location. Fasten three M4x6 belts into remaining locations.

Be sure to use template to select proper fastening holes.

Remove trunk floor mat and right wheel well liner.

Secure CD bracket to left rear threaded insert on trunk panel underneath hatshelf (as viewed from rear of car).

Punch locations for 3 holes with template in place. Remove bracket and drill 3 mm holes. Clean metal shavings. Apply zinc dust paint.

Secure bracket with M10x10 and three M5x15 bolts.

Remove end plate from CD changer unit.

9.

Carefully remove the vertical mount springs and reinstall in horizontal position. Replace end plate. Repeat procedure on other side of CD changer
unit.

10.

Install side brackets on top of CD changer unit with the mounting holes of the brackets facing out (Fig. 3). Secure with two M4x6 bolts.
