Connect quiescent current preservation unit

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

Disconnect ground cable at battery

CAUTION:  To protect against inadvertent contact of disconnected ground cable with ground (battery) W10, insulate cable shoe of
ground cable

Remove cover of left wheel house recess

4.1 Open side trim in right rear
4.2 Open side trim in left of trunk

Remove cover on CTEL transmitter-receiver (A35)

Press back tensioning spring (arrow) on bracket and pull out CTEL transmitter-receiver (A35)

Unscrew screws (18) and remove bracket (19) with CTEL transmitter-receiver (A35)

Unscrew screws (18) and remove retainer (30) with CTEL transmitter-receiver (A35)

9

Release and remove coupling on CTEL transmitter-receiver (A35)

10 Disconnect antenna cable on CTEL transmitter-receiver (A35)
11 Install in reverse order
