Brake Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
AR42.10-P-0010-01A Activate Master Cylinder Switchover Valve

NOTE:  For model name/model number cross reference refer to Model Designation Table. See: Application and ID

1. Disconnect coupling (d) at brake master cylinder switchover valve (Y61).
2. Actuate brake master cylinder switchover valve (Y61):

On model 129.067 with ESP, 129.076 flat plug to fuse C in fuse and relay box F1 and round plug to ground, ABS hydraulic unit bracket W14.
Connect the 2-pin coupling to the brake master cylinder switchover valve (Y61).

On models 140.04/05/06/07, connect the flat plug to the input of fuse 28 in the fuse and relay box F1 (Fuse 28 removed) and the round plug to
ground, hydraulic unit bracket W14. Connect the 2-pin coupling to the brake master cylinder switchover valve (Y61).

NOTE:  The switchover valve (Y61) must be open so that the annular duct in the brake master cylinder is bled.
