Thermostat: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation

Drain coolant at radiator, See: Service and Repair

Model 129: unscrew dipstick tube from cylinder head.

Detach coolant hose (1) at thermostat housing.

Detach coolant thermostat housing cap (2).
Tighten to: 10 Nm.

Remove coolant thermostat (4).
-
Replace O-ring (3).

Install coolant thermostat.
Installation Note: The ball valve (arrow) must be at the highest point.

Continue installation in reverse sequence. Observe torque specifications.

Pour in coolant.

Check cooling system for leaks. See: Testing and Inspection
