Replace receiver/drier (SMS, Job No. 83-540).

Evacuate and recharge A/C system. Run engine at idle for approximately four minutes and check for proper function and leaks (SMS, Job No.
83-508).

Models 107, 126, As of M.Y. 1986

1.

Reclaim and recycle A/C refrigerant.

2.

Release tension and remove poly-V-belt.

3.

Disconnect 3-pole connector (A9X1) on A/C compressor.

4.

Remove screws securing suction/discharge line to manifold.

Tightening torque: 23 Nm.

5.

Remove bolts which secure compressor bracket.

6.

Remove A/C compressor and bracket forward.

7.

Remove compressor from bracket, remove spacers.

8.

Remove manifold. Remove shipping plate from remanufactured unit only after releasing pressure via the schrader valve. Install manifold and new
O-rings onto remanufactured unit.

9.

Correct oil level in compressor (compensate for oil loss if additional components were replaced).

10.

Reinstall in reverse sequence.
