Headlamp Lens: Service and Repair

 
A. Standard Headlamps Up to approx. 02/94

Preliminary work:

Headlamp unit removed, refer to "Replacing Headlamp Unit". See: Service and Repair 

Rubber seal (1)

pull off, fit on.

Catches (2)

unclip, clip in place.

NOTE:  The catches (2) must be heard to engage when assembling.

Lens (3)

take off, fit on. Ensure the guides on right and left (arrow) are correctly located.

NOTE:  The lens (3) forms a unit with the frame.

Rubber seal (4)

examine for signs of damage; ensure seal (4) is correctly located when installing.

B. Standard Headlamps As of approx. 03/94 and Xenon Headlamps
