Press off retaining clip (1, Figure 16) and remove shaft.

10.

Remove screws (2, Figure 16).

11.

Remove drive motor (3, Figure 16). Then remove screw and cover from drive motor.

12.

Installation is in reverse order of removal.

Checking one exterior mirror for improved version of fold back drive motor (02-1708). Checking both exterior mirrors for improved version of fold back
drive motor (02-1709).

Note:
The Operation Number/Time for checking cannot be applied in addition to the Operation Number for replacement for the same mirror fold back drive
