CHANGES IN SEAT BELT BUCKLE/LATCH DESIGN

As of July 1993, a new SRS control module, seat belt (part no. 140 860 27/28 85) and buckle were phased into production. The new seat belt has a
smaller latch plate, and the new buckle has more side-to-side flexibility.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

Due to the changes in the seat belt and the SRS control module it is important that the seat belt, buckle and SRS control module are compatible.

Seat belt part no. 140 860 27/28 85 can not be used with buckle, part no. 140 860 24/25 69.

Seat belt, part no. 140 860 31/32 85 must be used with buckle, part no. 140 860 24/25 69.

Seat belt, part no. 140 860 27/28 85 must be used with buckle, part no. 140 860 34/35 69.
