2. Tilt outside disc carrier (1) and remove discs. Check inside discs for scorching and wear (reference thickness 2 mm).
Installation Note
Note sequence of clutch discs. Arrange discs according to transmission diagram and immerse in ATF for approx. 1 hour before installing. Position
convex surface of dished washer on plunger.
3. Attach assembly device (020) on dished washer (4) and compress until snap ring (5) is accessible. Remove snap ring (5).
4. Release assembly device 126 589 00 43 00 and lift off.
Installation Note
Check that snap ring is correctly seated after inserting.
5. Remove spring seat (4) and compression springs (3).
Installation Note
Note number of compression springs and ensure that each spring is centered by one guide lug on the spring seat.
