Quarter Window Motor: Service and Repair

Preliminary work: See: Restraint Systems/Seat Belt Systems/Seat Belt Extension/Service and Repair 

Seat belt extender removed.
Seat belt extender control unit removed. 

Plastic cover

remove.

Seat belt

screw off at bottom (35 Nm).

Electrical connections on electric window motor

disconnect.

Screws on electric window motor (4)

screw out (3 each).

Electric window motor

remove toward inside.

Reinstall

in opposite order.

NOTE:  The motor for the electrically operated window must be resynchronized (basic adjustment). For this purpose close window with electric window
switch (not in automatic closing mode) and allow to run against stop for 1 - 2 s.
