7 Unscrew fastening clip and belt guide fitting on rear pillar, left.
8 Loosen sliding-lifting roof frame in rear range.
9 Push sliding-lifting roof frame slightly down and extend tubing at sliding-lifting roof frame rear, sliding tubing into trunk for this purpose.
10 Remove tubing in forward direction.

Installation

11 Introduce new tubing from vehicle interior first into trunk and then into sliding-lifting roof frame.

Attention:  Do not distort tubing during installation to prevent binding of control cable.

12 Fasten tubing to sliding-lifting roof frame and at rear pillar.
13 Install holder with motor and gear unit.
14 For further installation proceed vice versa.
