13. With special tool, remove fastening screws from control unit.
14. Remove control unit.
Installation:
15. Mount control unit securely to transmission tunnel (specified torque, 10 Nm).
WARNING: Arrow on control unit must point towards front of vehicle.
16. Connect red 10-pin plug (arrowed) to cable harness.
17. Connect battery, turn ignition key to position "1" and check system with RS/SRS control lamp (A1e15).
18. Turn ignition key to position "0", disconnect and insulate negative battery terminal.
19. Disconnect red 10-pin plug (arrowed).
