Remove or put on sealing ring.

Note:  Always renew sealing ring.

Press inner radial sealing ring (71) out of the wheel carrier with a screwdriver and remove together with taper roller bearing inner ring (73).

Note:  Coat new radial sealing ring (71) between the two sealing lips with multi-purpose grease. Mount radial sealing ring with partially
rubberized jacket in dry condition.
Coat or fill both taper roller bearing inner rings and cavity between the two bearing outer rings in the wheel carrier with approx. 50 g of multi-
purpose grease.

Press off or press on bearing inner ring (73) and radial sealing ring (71) together with the assembly tool 201 589 00 61 00 (05a-05f).

Press off outer radial sealing ring (77) from wheel carrier with a screwdriver.
