NOTE: When fastening both tubings by means of clips, make sure that the bead on tubing is slipped into groove on gear unit.

Removal
1 Remove cover in trunk, left.
2 Force off plastic cap for emergency crank drive and unscrew hex nut (17 mm) located underneath, while holding gear unit shaft in place at the spot
provided for this purpose by means of a fork wrench (6 mm).
