6. Check suspension parts. 

Note:

The mounting bracket for the bottom shock absorber mount must always be seated tightly in the rubber mount; it must not be possible to
turn the rubber mount in the suspension eye.

7. Position shock absorber and install upper mount. Ensure that parts are seated correctly. Screw the bottom hex. nut down to the end of the threads,

then counter with top nut.

Note:

The dust protector (75f) is only installed on vehicles for countries with poor road conditions.

8. Install bottom mount on semi-trailing arm. when the weight is on the wheels, it is most practical to lower the semi-trailing arm by lifting the

vehicle at the rear axle until it is at the same height as the mounting bracket on the shock absorber.
