Compressor Shaft Seal: Service and Repair

Removal, Installation

Discharge air conditioning system (recycling).

Remove air compressor.  See: Service and Repair

Remove spring plate.  See: Compressor Clutch/Service and Repair

Use a screwdriver to pry out dust seal (arrows).

Installation note:
-

Insert dust seal with the open side upward.

Place key driver on the compressor shaft and rotate one half turn to the left.

Pull out key and remove.

7

Remove circlip (52).
