Electrical connections

NOTE: Vehicles with automatic pilot system (APS)

After reconnecting the battery the language is automatically reloaded (approx. 15 min.). The radio and navigation control module must remain
switched on until the message "Language loaded" appears on the display.

After replacing the radio and navigation control module (APS) the following settings must be made:
1. Activate selection menu by pressing RDS key and key 5 simultaneously and then switch on radio.
2. Select loudspeaker system with cursor key and confirm with enter key.
Retaining springs on radio
NOTE: The two retaining springs on the side of the radio engage in the cut-out on the center console.

Removing/Installing
Pre-Installation for retrofitting radio
The wiring for the speakers in the front left and right doors as well as the wiring for the radio connection (power supply for single module set) and for the
automatic antenna is installed as a standard feature. The speaker wiring for the front and rear speakers, the adapter wiring harness for the speaker
connection at the radio and the RF antenna cable are not included.
