    The rear engine cover closes the main oil gallery and is sealed to the crankcase with a thin sheet steel which is coated on both sides. The cover is
attached with 23 screws. The bottom of the rear engine cover contacts the oil pan gasket and is attached to the oil pan. The crankshaft rear seal is pressed
flush with the rear engine cover from the rear, Fig. 12.
