Remove cartridge for glazing from repair kit, place in cartridge heater unopened and switch on cartridge heater.
NOTE: Heat-up time at least 20 minutes.
Injury hazard
When clamping blade into multi-cutter and unclamping cuts can results when the tensioning wrench slips off or unintentionally switching on the
multi-cutter.
Glass splinters can injure eyes and hands when cutting out bonded windows.
Rules of behavior/protective measures

Clamp/unclamp blade only with air supply shut-off.

Wear protective gloves.

Wear protective goggles when cutting out windows.
Preparing Windshield For Installation
When previously installed windshield is used:
Cut off glue residues on windshield down to a few 10th of a millimeter. Pull off loose glue (residues not completely cut on) and wipe gluing area with
lent-free rag. Do not use any type of cleaning solution.
Repair damaged primer coat.
NOTE: Allow primer to air-dry for at least 5 minutes.
When installing a new windshield:
Check windshield for scratches and damage. Apply cleaner from repair kit with lent-free rag in gluing area, then rub dry with second rag.
NOTE: Do not use cleaning solution in visual area of windshield, because it can lead to clouding.

Shake primer vigorously and apply in gluing area (maximum width 30 mm).
NOTE: Allow primer to air-dry for at least 5 minutes.
