Center Mounted Brake Lamp: Service and Repair

AR82.10-P-5375P Remove/Install Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp

Shown On Model 203.0

Remove paneling from inside of trunk

Unscrew bolts from the retaining clamps of the center high-mounted stop lamp (E21)

Push center high-mounted stop lamp (E21) out of trunk lid

4

Disconnect connector of center high-mounted stop lamp (E21x1)

Remove retaining clamps (1)

6

Screw retaining clamps (1) to center high-mounted stop lamp (E21)

NOTE: When replacing center high-mounted stop lamp it is supplied with new clamps

Attach connector of center high-mounted stop lamp (E21x1)

Insert center high-mounted stop lamp(E21)

CAUTION:
-

Ensure that seal is in good condition and properly seated Apply sliding compound

-

Do not allow retaining clamps to damage paintwork.

NOTE: Ensure that retaining brackets are correctly seated. Retaining brackets must be able to be pushed together when fitted

Perform function check

Install hazard warning triangle
