No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking

Wear protective gloves, acid-resistant clothing and safety glasses Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked
containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove rear shelf

Disconnect coupling (4)

Unclip subwoofer (H4/29) from luggage compartment in direction of arrow

Remove subwoofer loudspeaker (H4/29) and housing (1) from rear shelf absorber (3)

Unscrew screw (2)

Remove subwoofer loudspeaker (H4/29) from housing (1)

8

Install in the reverse order

Perform basic programming

NOTE: Only if no quiescent current retention device has been used.

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

Check for proper function
