DANGER:

Risk of explosion from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns from swallowing battery electrolyte. Injury hazard and
danger of burning skin and eyes when handling battery acid or handling damaged lead-acid batteries

No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.

-

Wear acid protection gloves, clothes and goggles. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

Disconnect ground cable of battery

Remove instrument panel

Expose lead

NOTE:  Cockpit wiring harness in area of right defroster flap actuator motor (M2/9).

Unscrew screws (1)

NOTE:  Three screws.

See "Special Tools" given below.

Remove right defroster flap actuator motor (M2/9) from AC housing

Disconnect connector (3) from right defroster flap actuator motor (M2/9)

Install in the reverse order

Synchronize right defroster flap actuator motor (M2/9)

Torx bit set, P/N# 000 559 01 10 00
