AR77.20-P-1150PB Remove/Install Rubber Bellows on Sliding/Pop-Up Roof

Removing And Installing Rubber Bellows On Sliding/Pop-up Roof

DANGER:
Risk of injury to fingers being jammed or squeezed when removing and installing or aligning hoods, doors, trunk lid/tailgate and sliding roof.

When moving components ensure that no body parts or limbs are in the area of movement.

Open sliding/pop-up roof

Unclip front rubber bellows mount (1)

Pivot rubber bellows mount (1) upward

Unclip rubber bellows mount (1) at rear and remove

Unclip rubber bellows (2) from guide rail (3)

NOTE:  Start at rear

Pull rubber bellows (2) out of rubber bellows rail (4)

Remove rubber bellows (2)

NOTE:  Angularly toward front.

Move sliding/pop-up roof to pop-up position

Unclip rubber bellows rail (4)

NOTE:  Start at rear

Pull rubber bellows rail (4) out of sliding/popup roof cover(5)

CAUTION:  Installation: Guide pin (6) should catch audibly.

NOTE:  Toward front.

Install in the reverse order
