Split Rear Seat Unit Damaged

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of the backrest cover on the 2/3 split rear seat being damaged in the area below the armrest
when the seat is folded down, perform the following to resolve. This may be a result of welding splashes on spot welds beneath the 2/3 split rear seat
backrest.

Deburr spot welds

2.

Replace backrest cover. Refer to EPC for applicable part number.

In case of paintwork damage, restore paintwork.

The following allowable labor operations should be used when submitting a warranty claim for this repair.
