Instructions for Replacement of Right Footwell Flap Stepper Motor (M2/11)
If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of a ticking noise coming from the area of the instrument panel the cause could be a
damaged stepper motor lever arm. The noise may be created by the hex shaped drive shaft of the motor turning in the fractured lever. Updated lever arms
are available and it is not necessary to replace the footwell stepper motor.
1. Remove stepper motor for right footwell flap, refer to WIS document AR83.10-P-2007P.
2. Remove and inspect lever arm.
3. If damaged, replace with new updated lever (Figure 1) available separately in kit A203 830 00 33 64.
NOTE:
During the installation of the lever do not turn the actuator motor to the correct position by hand, as this could damage the unit.
Synchronization will provide the correct adjustment.
