Model: 203.040/740 with Automatic Transmission Engine Control Unit Software Update
The SDflash CD release 00114482802/0001 contains a software update for the engine control unit for the following condition on the above model
vehicles (for instructions for flashware use refer to S-B-07.61/27):

RPM fluctuation at idle after cold start
^
No DTC stored in ECU
After flashing part no. A271 153 48 79 and 64 79, the ECU will have the part number A271 153 83 79.
After flashing all previous version ECUs (A271 153 58 79/49 79/44 79/25 79/ 21 79), the ECU will have the part no. A271 153 70 79.
When asking for SCN number, the part number A271 153 83 79 or 70 79 must be specified.
Note:

Ensure that all engine related systems are within specifications. The software will not compensate for any system or mechanical malfunction.

After flashing earlier version ECU's (i.e. PN 271 153 4479, 4879) the chassis number is no longer displayed on the SDS screen, instead it will
show 0's. This is normal and will have no effect on any function, no further action is required.
