Replacing Non-Return Valve (Oil Reservoir Of Chain Tensioner)

Remove timing case cover

Use suitable pliers (1) to withdraw non-return valve (8) from the crankcase

CAUTION:  Installation:  press in new non-return valve (8) by hand.

NOTE:  The non-return valve (8) prevents the oil reservoir for the chain tensioner running dry when the engine is switched off. See oil circuit.

Install in the reverse order.
