Remove condensate water drain hoses (7)

Disconnect connector (8) from evaporator temperature sensor (B10/6)

Slightly remove AC housing from fire wall

CAUTION:  Installation:  moisten seal (11) on AC housing air inlet with soap solution.

Do not oil seal. Ensure that seal (11) on AC housing air inlet is seated properly.

Grease guides (12).
-

MB long-term grease

Remove cockpit wiring harness (9) from AC housing

Remove AC housing

CAUTION:  Remove AC housing with aid of helper. Avoid damaging passenger compartment and AC housing.

Install in the reverse order

Read diagnostic trouble code memory and erase

26

Synchronize actuator motors.
