CHECK COMAND AND NAVIGATION SOFTWARE AND UPDATE IF NECESSARY

This Service Campaign has been initiated because DCAG has determined that on affected vehicles with code 528 or 530 (see VIN range shown below),
incorrect software may have been installed potentially leading to COMAND malfunctions. In order to proactively deal with any potential customer
complaints, dealer will check the software releases using a workshop service CD and update if necessary.

Please review the Effective Serial Number chart, and if necessary, repair the subject vehicles during the vehicle's next service.
