Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers

Connect quiescent current retention unit

Connect ground lead to battery

Remove pane on rear-end door

Amplifier module 1, remove windshield antenna (A2/71) from rear-end door pane
CAUTION:

Do not damage pane on rear-end door.

Use a hot air blower to carefully heat up the repair area.

Amplifier module 3, remove windshield antenna (A2/73) from rear-end door pane
CAUTION:

Do not damage pane on rear-end door.

Remove adhesive residue from pane on rear-end door
Apply glass primer to adhesive surface on rear window.

Remove adhesive pad and adhesive residue from underside of amplifier module 1, windshield antenna (A2/71)
NOTE: Installation: when gluing on the antenna amplifier module, make sure that after removing the protective foil on the adhesive pad it is
placed straight onto the rear-end door pane. After fitting into place the antenna amplifier module should be set under a load of approx. 1 N/sq.cm
for roughly 5 seconds.

Remove adhesive pad and adhesive residue from underside of amplifier module 3, windshield antenna (A2/73)

Remove rear roof frame paneling

Unscrew nuts (1)

Release and detach antenna lines (2)

Disconnect connectors for amplifier module 2, windshield antenna (A2/71x2)

Remove amplifier module 1, windshield antenna (A2/71)

Unscrew nut (3)

Unscrew union nut (4) and unplug antenna lines

Disconnect connector for amplifier module 4, windshield antenna (A2/71x4)

Remove amplifier module 4, windshield antenna (A2/74)

Install in the reverse order

Set electrical system to operational status
